Falling in Reverse:"I am not a vampire."
I believe this video was made in this manner because the sterotyping of bands like this is that there all in to drugs and have all been to rehab. I believe that this video fits the meaning of the song pretty well.
In this video as well as many rehab shows there is always a dumb blonde a creepy old lady and a "gay" guy. Also the head nurse is always ugly where as all the other nurses are pretty. Another sterotype is that this song is screamo when it's punk.One of the things I don't like about this video is that it makes it seem like rehab is okay and should be fun when really your in there for a reason. Don't even get me started on "dumb blondes" a lot of blondes are smart hair color is not important.Also that old lady's are creepy most are nice.
All in all I find this video kinda boring. I think people from 13-21 would enjoy this vid.The video kinda fits the song.
I'm not a big fan of the vid but I like the song and love the band. XP

Assignment ONE!!!!!!
I believe media is extremely important in my life. I believe this because with out media i wouldn't have some many this that I love. Such as anime music and social networking.
I feel that first off social networking is the most important to me because it keeps me connected to people I wouldn't have the change to talk to other wise. Second I feel that music is also very important. Music keeps me focused and also is something you can share on facebook or with your friends giving you something to talk about with people. Last but not lest I feel that books are a very important part of the media world. They were the foundation to many types of media. Also I feel that the world wouldn't be as smart as it is now without books.
I have to say there are more things in today's pop culture that I don't like than what I do like. So my thoughts are very one sided on this matter. I love the new tech out there that we can use to communicate. A few years ago I had never once talked to my uncle because he lives in BC but now thanks to cell phones and social networking I talk to him at lest once a week. I dislike the way teens are made to look like in example in movies if a teen is goth of has rainbow hair they are made out to be the "Bad kids" and because of this being something like goth is looked down upon. I use media for all kinds of things. I use it to play games, shopping, finding info, doing homework and keeping updated with news to name a few things.
If I was to be stuck on a desert island and could only have 3 types of media I would have to have first off a Book. I would pick a book because you can read it over and over and if you have a awesome imagination like I do you it would be hard to get bored of it because you could read a chapter and then just daydream about it changing it in your mind making it different every time.
Second I would take Music. The type wouldn't really matter as long as it was up beat. I would take music because everything seems to be easier or faster when you play music when your doing it.
lastly I would take a Video Game for something to do when I wouldn't want to read.Playing video games is a great way to get your mind off things. I would take Legend of Zelda OOT (ocarina of time)because that is my favorite game and i never get sick of beating it.
